The Author
Mamta Nainy is a writer based in New Delhi. She has authored over thirty-five books for children, many of which have won national and international awards. She also works as a literary translator, translating between Hindi and English. She is inspired by the boundless imagination of children and loves to travel but is often too lazy to do so, so she mostly makes do with reading.
The Illustrator
Shubhshree is an artist, tea lover, and bibliophile based in Bangalore. She thrives on nostalgia and her work is rooted in everyday magic which brings warmth in storytelling for young readers. With ten years of experience in picture-book illustration, teaching, writing and curation, she hopes to write and create her own books someday when she s not procrastinating on cleaning her desk!
