About the Author
Vijay Tankha studied at Delhi University and McGill University, Canada, where he did his Ph.D., specializing in Plato. He taught at St. Stephen's College, Delhi, for over three decades, retiring as Head, Department of Philosophy, in 2017. Over the years, he has written and published articles, both academic and popular, on philosophy and literature. He is the author of Ancient Greek Philosophy and Poetry and Politics in Ancient Greece. Two further books, one each on Plato and Aristotle, are forthcoming in this series.
