About the Author
Dattaraj V. Salgaocar is the owner and Chairman of the V.M. Salgaocar Corporation Group of Companies. He holds an engineering degree from VJTI, Mumbai, and an MBA from Wharton.
A founding life trustee and Vice-President of The International Centre, Goa, he founded Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts in 2009 and also heads the V.M. Salgaocar Law College. He established the V.M. Salgaocar International Hospitality Institute in 2014 and serves on the international advisory council of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and Tate, London. .
An avid wildlife enthusiast and photographer, he has long been engaged in philanthropy, education and cultural initiatives.
