About the Author
Sergio Ram rez is a leading Nicaraguan writer and intellectual who served in the Government Junta of National Reconstruction and as vice president of the country from 1984 till 1990. He is the author of over thirty books, among them nine works of fiction, and he is the recipient of numerous honors, including the Cervantes Prize in 2017. He was also named the Chevalier de l Ordredes Arts et des Lettres in 1993.
