The Author

Nisha Ravindranathan is a writer, poet, and fully funded Royal Scottish Arts Council Scholar. She has previously worked with newspapers, magazines, publishing houses, theatre companies and creative agencies. These days you can find her spoiling her dogs rotten, turning her home into a jungalow, driving to the mountains or laughing at her own dad jokes. Almost all her travel plans involve great food and remote islands where she can dive with apex predators and whales. Noni and Paati Make a Dosa is her first book for children.

The Illustrator

Maithili Panikar is an illustrator and designer based in Bangalore. She has illustrated several children s books, and loves exploring different styles to best capture the essence of the whimsical and magical universes created by writers. She also has a keen interest in gardening and loves spending time in green spaces.
