A beautiful young woman, Prachi Pandit, is discovered with her head bashed in and dangling inside the broken surface of a frozen lake. Shockingly, Prachi is found clutching the chain that once held the Star. The snow has trapped everyone-no one can leave, and no help is forthcoming. Enter temperamental Sam Contractor, a young police officer visiting the lodge for what he hopes will be a relaxing, uneventful holiday. As he reluctantly takes charge of the investigation, he must confront more than the chilling weather. With pressure mounting and time running out, he faces a web of lies, jealousy, and deceit.
