Chinmay Patgaonkar is a brilliant young author who lives in Pune with his family and his dog Angel (for whom The Angel Protocol is named). He began writing at the age of twelve and published his first novel at fourteen, titled The Last 21 Hours: A Bullet That Shook The White House (2022). His second novel, Ashoka s Secret (2024), was released when Chinmay was sixteen. Since then, all friends, teachers, family and even his enemies refer to him by his honorary title: The Author.

He is an avid reader, with his favourite authors being P. G. Wodehouse, Frederick Forsyth, Jeffrey Archer, and Dan Brown. He has a deep interest in history and geopolitics and channels that passion into fiction. Chinmay often zones out into his own world of storytelling as he crafts plotlines for his upcoming books.

With his third book, The Angel Protocol: A War Against Time, he embarks on a storytelling voyage into the world of espionage with the Angel Protocol series.
