Women rewriting the rules
Mira, Simran, Tara, Amaya and Izna.
In the warm refuge of a neighbourhood cafe, five women at very different crossroads find one another. Behind their marriages, careers and family expectations lie disappointments they have learnt not to name and choices they are not yet brave enough to make. Each has a past she is not ready to come to terms with and a question she cannot answer alone.
As friendship takes root, buried truths begin to surface.
Can the women trust the world with the parts of themselves they have long suppressed and hidden? Or will they let old fears continue to haunt them? What does it take to let go of the life you knew and claim the one you want?
Moving, sharp and witty, The Un-Wife Club is a poignant novel about female friendships, love and the courage it takes to find your way back to yourself.
