He studies and practices various Vedic Sciences including Advaita, Yoga, Ayurveda, Vastu Shastra and Jyotisha. Pioneering organics and biodynamics in India, he has co-founded the herb companies Ayurveda Organics, Om Organics and Organic India which won the award for the Most Socially Responsible Company in the entire Natural Products Industry.

He worked for several years on the board of the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine and is presently on the editorial boards of Light on Ayurveda Journal and the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia. His books have been translated into 12 languages and he has published dozens of articles and herb photographs in magazines like Yoga Times, Yoga Journal, LA Yoga, Light on Ayurveda.
