Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy
Most items purchased from Midland Book Shop listed on midlandbookshop.com are returnable within the return window, except those that are explicitly identified as not returnable
Our policy lasts 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since delivery of the product, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Return will be processed only if:
- it is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession;
- the product is not different from what was shipped to you;
- the product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer’s box, MRP tag intact, user manual, warranty card and all the accessories therein).Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as newspapers or magazines cannot be returned.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. We may contact you to ascertain the damage or defect in the product prior to issuing replacement.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days depending on the time taken by our payment gateway providers and banking channels.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Products offered for sale and displayed on the Website are subject to availability. The Company shall not be liable in case of stock outage or unavailability of products. The Company reserves the right to change the products offered for sale on the Website at any time and without notice. Details about the availability of products are provided when you place your order. At times, errors may exist. If a product is not available after you have placed your order, we will inform you by email or by telephone as soon as possible. You will be invited to choose another available product as substitution for the unavailable product or to cancel your order. If you cancel your order, you will be refunded. Customized products cannot be cancelled once the order is placed.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over INR 300, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
