About the Author
Maj. Gen. Anand Saxena holds triple master’s degrees to his credit—Master of Science, Master of Philosophy and Master of Management Studies in which he majored in Financial Management. He is also a Helicopter pilot with vast combat flying experience. Anand speaks and writes on religion, philosophy, positive psychology and personal finance. He feels passionately about the lack of institutionalised financial education to the children or indeed to a common person in India which results in their long-term financial doom despite handsome pay packages. He has extensively read on this subject building upon his core knowledge. The result in the form of the book Musings of a Financially Illiterate Father (2018), an Amazon Bestseller. His second book The Millionaire Mechanic: Financial Wisdom in the Rann (2019) narrated the fascinating story of the protagonists of his first book, HoneyCool and Anshreya. The book is a Financial Travelogue, a maiden genre in Indian writing, which combines the racy thrill of a road trip with the wisdom of personal finance.
