Preethi Menon is an educator, with more than three decades of teaching experience. She was born, raised and schooled in Kuwait. Her higher education was from various institutions in Kerala. Preethi has taught in schools in Mumbai, Vizag, Delhi and Wellington (Coonoor). She has been teaching in different international schools in Bengaluru for the last seventeen years. She loves travelling and is passionate about
nature and wildlife. She enjoys birdwatching and has been to many of the forest reserves mentioned in the book.
