Sayantan Ghosh is an Indian author, journalist, editor and academic whose writing brings together contemporary fiction, journalism, politics and culture. Based in Kolkata, he teaches Journalism and Mass Communication at St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, and has previously worked as a political correspondent in Delhi and as an associate fellow at the Delhi Assembly Research Centre. His writing has appeared in leading publications including The Quint, Deccan Herald, Moneycontrol, The Free Press Journal, The Hindu BusinessLine, The Telegraph and Firstpost. Ghosh is the author of the acclaimed novel Lonely People Meet, a contemporary work that explores love, loneliness, identity, memory and the complicated ways people connect with one another. His other books include The Aam Aadmi Party: The Untold Story of a Political Uprising and Its Undoing and Battleground Bengal. With experience across journalism, academia and publishing, Ghosh brings a thoughtful and observant perspective to modern Indian life, relationships, politics and society
