About the Author

Archana Prasad is Fellow, Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, New Delhi. She has a Ph.D. from Centre of Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University and was awarded the Rockfeller Fellowship for Environmental History at Cornell University.
