He began as a researcher on BBC News’s Hardtalk, before becoming producer of Hardtalk Extra, during which he interviewed figures such as Dolly Parton and Salman Rushdie. He then became the Technology Video Journalist for BBC News. He was one of the founders of the Video Innovation Lab at the BBC, which set up #BBCTrending and BBC Shorts on Instagram. He has given talks on the digital revolution and popular culture at institutions such as Cambridge University, Glasgow University and the Broadcast Video Expedition.
