About the Author

Neha Khaitan is a Hyderabad-based Bharatanatyam danseuse. She is actively involved in the art and education space through storytelling, her classical dance performances, and writing and illustrating children’s books.

Neha holds a degree in computer science and engineering and has about a decade of experience in the IT industry, after which she switched to a career involving arts and education.

She has performed Bharatanatyam at numerous platforms in India and abroad. As a storyteller, she has performed at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival and the Hyderabad Literary Festival (HLF).

Her illustration style by and large includes ink on paper and collages. She experiments with abstract and surreal collages too. She has had thematic collage art exhibitions at Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

Neha is the founder of ‘A Flower Child’—a platform for visual arts, children’s books and storytelling. ‘Anekdotes—many stories’ is the storytelling wing of ‘A Flower Child’. The use of classical dance form and live music while narrating stories makes her storytelling performances unique.
