About the Author

poet and translator, Deepa Agarwal writes for both children and adults. She received the N.C.E.R.T. National Award for Children's Literature in 1993 for her picture book Ashok's New Friends.

Rachna Chhabria is the author of Lazy Worm Goes on a Journey, The Lion Who Wanted to Sing and Bunny in Search of a Name. Her short story 'Ganesh's Blanket of Stars' won the Special Prize in the Unisun-Reliance TimeOut Writing Competition, 2010-11.

With many children's books to her credit, author and freelance writer Sreelata Menon writes about anything and everything. She especially enjoys capturing children's imagination with fascinating tales from India's rich historical and literary legacy.
