Dr. Rebecca Janicker (foreword) is a senior lecturer in Film and Media Studies at the University of Portsmouth and an editorial advisory board member for The Journal of Popular Culture. She is the author of The Literary Haunted House: Lovecraft, Matheson, King and the Horror in Between (2015). Her other publications have focused on the Gothic fictions of Robert Bloch, Stephen King, Richard Matheson and H.P. Lovecraft, including work on horror in film, TV and comics.
