Dr Pradeep Chakravarthy is a historian, author, and behavioural consultant with a passion for making history relevant to modern life. A graduate of the London School of Economics and Jawaharlal Nehru University, he holds a PhD on the role of temples in the socioeconomic and political life of medieval Tamil Nadu. With over two decades of experience in learning and development, Pradeep has worked with leading organizations such as TVS, Cognizant, Infosys, and McKinsey, using historical insights to drive behavioural change in individuals and businesses. His mission is to help people understand present and future behaviour by learning from the past. He has authored 10 books focused on Tamil Nadu’s rich cultural heritage and how historical wisdom can enhance workplace performance. His work has been featured in over 200 magazine and newspaper articles, and he has appeared as an expert on platforms such as Netflix (Raja Rasoi), History TV, Discovery Channel, and TEDx. Most recently, he founded Anantya in The Village, a heritage hotel in Alwar Tirunagari, where he conducts immersive heritage tours for children, bringing history to life through experiential learning.
