In My Joy, she invites young readers to discover how laughter and ambition become quiet acts of resistance.

Shrujana N Shridhar is an artist and illustrator based in Mumbai. Her practice honours the resilience of communities that fought caste and gender oppressions for centuries.

Her works have been published in magazines in India and abroad. Shrujana has written and illustrated children's books like, Aamu's Kawandi and Chiu's Power; she has also illustrated books like Girls Also Want Aazadi, That Night.
