[O]n point and funny. . . Ross's sprightly and oh-so-expressive cartoon illustrations are a perfect match with Willis' humor - Kirkus

A superb cautionary tale for our online times... The rhymes make it bliss to read aloud, and the illustrations are a spritely delight. Funny, clever and we can all learn from it – what more could you ask? Smiley face. - LoveReading4Kids - Book of the Month February 2021

Uses humour and a light-hearted tone... Tony Ross's quirky illustrations are the perfect compliment to the text, making it perfect for using with any age group -- Sue Wilsher - ReadingZone

a fun singalong cautionary tale that I am sure will be loved by many youngsters and their parents/carers. Illustrated in an amusing comic-style that will be sure to bring a smile to everyone who reads it. -- Jayne Truran - Just Imagine

Jeanne Willis is an award-winning children's author and scriptwriter. She had her first picture book published by Andersen at the age of 21, and has won the Silver Medal Smarties Prize (Tadpole's Promise), the Nasen Special Needs Award (Susan Laughs), the Sheffield Children's Book Award (Who’s in The Loo) and the Red House Children's Book Award (Bottoms Up). Tony Ross has been illustrating books for 50 years, and has been published all over the world. Tony’s books have been shortlisted for the The Laugh Out Loud Book Awards (Slug Needs a Hug) and the Kate Greenaway (Dr Xargle's Book of Earth Tiggers), and Tadpole’s Promise won the Silver Medal Smarties Prize. He was named as the best-selling illustrator in the UK for three years in a row, and he is the UK’s libraries' most-borrowed illustrator. He lives in Macclesfield.
