'Please, sir, I want some more.'

After escaping from a cruel orphanage, Oliver Twist finds himself tangled up with London's pickpocket group. Under the manipulative influence of its cunning leader, Fagin, he is forced to confront the harsh realities of crime and survival. Rescued by the compassionate Mr Brownlow after a failed attempt at crime, Oliver is drawn into a series of events that gradually uncover the truth of his birth and identity.

With the artfully created characters of innocent Oliver, sinister Fagin, kind Nancy and many others, Oliver Twist offers a powerful critique of industrial-era London while remaining a timeless story of innocence confronted by corruption.
