Brig Arun Pandey, VSM was commissioned into the JAT Regiment of the Indian Army in 1985. He commanded a Rashtriya Rifles battalion in Kashmir and an Assam Rifles sector in Manipur, experiences that profoundly shaped his leadership style and outlook on life.
