About the Author

Sanjana Kulkarni has always believed that stories can take us anywhere— whether it’s a jungle full of talking animals or a garden of giggling roses. She is always dreaming up adventures that make kids laugh and think. Sanjana lives in Bangalore, where she spends her time exploring new ideas, reading, and of course petting as many stray dogs as possible. This is her first children’s book.

Sushmita is a Bengaluru-based multilingual illustrator and a communication designer. She enjoys working in the children’s literature space and is keen on finding simple yet effective ways to engage with young ones. She mainly works in the digital medium and is always exploring new forms of creative expression. She’s also a volunteer docent at MAP, Bengaluru leading engaging museum tours. She draws inspiration from artists and individuals who live life in full colour and are unapologetically themselves.
