About the Author

Dr Ramesh Kumar is the pioneer in the field of Nephrology (Kidney Disease) and Kidney transplantation in India and South East Asia. He has been recipient of many international fellowships, visiting professorships and is a guest speaker all over world. He is committed to look after all patients poor, rich and VIPs at par. This book is the story of his non-medical insight into the lives of public figures – as friend and philosopher. He was awarded Padma Shri in 1992 and Padma Bhushan in 2003. Born on 16 June 1940, Ramesh Kumar has been a practicing physician for sixty years.
