About the Author
ISHAN TRIVEDI is a writer, artist and passionate storyteller who began his professional career as an illustrator in the comic book industry, where he cultivated a distinct visual language that draws deeply from Indian artistic traditions. His stories are known for their visual depth and emotional resonance. Some of his other picture books are: The Damroo Man and the Monkey Gang and Pushpa and the Pushpak Vimana.
His contributions to the literary and artistic world have earned him numerous accolades, including an Honorary Mention at the Global Illustration Award in Frankfurt (2017), and the Gold Award for Best Children's Illustrated Book (2019 & 2020) at Comic Con India Awards, among others.
