Gayatri (b. 1976) is a therapist, poet and author. Her previous works include Ela's Unfinished BusinessDevi & the Battle of MeghadhanushAnityaSit Your Self Down, and Who Me, Poor?.

She holds a Master's in English Literature as well as diplomas in journalism, counselling psychology, applied Buddhist mind studies and Buddhist psychology. She is an ongoing student of the Nalanda Master's in Buddhist Philosophy under the aegis of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. She is also a student of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche and of the Sharath Jois ashtanga yoga shala. She is the founder of Shamah | ??:, a mind-body-spirit alignment practice. She lives in Mysuru.
