About the Author

Ram Madhav is an Indian politician, social leader, author and thinker. Dr Madhav is the President of India Foundation (IF), a New Delhi-based think tank. He has served as the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during 2014-20 responsible for handling the political affairs of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and other northeastern states of India.

Dr Madhav has over 300 publications to his credit. He has authored several books in English and Telugu which include Because India Comes First: Reflections on Nationalism, Identity and Culture and Uneasy Neighbours: India and China after 50 Years of the War.

He is a regular contributor to platforms like The Indian Express, The Hindustan Times and OPEN magazine amongst others. He was the editor of Bharatiya Pragna, a monthly magazine in English published by Pragna Bharati, and associate editor of Jagriti, a Telugu weekly.
